This is Andrew's Chinese hamster, Gimli

We've had Russian hamsters in the past, but they don't really make good pets as my two eldest children got bitten by theirs at least once a day! Gimli doesn't bite at all and he loves being handled. He got second place in the "small furries" class at a Midlands Rat Club show, so we were very proud of him. He's about 4 inches in length, so he's very small. He's a real sweetie!
